The tilde (~) is a grapheme with ~~
The name of the character comes from Spanish, from the Latin titulus
meaning a title or superscription, and is pronounced ['tɪl.də], in
English, or ['til.de], in Spanish. It was originally written over a
letter as a mark of abbreviation (see below), but has since acquired a number of other uses as a diacritic mark or a character in its own right. In the latter capacity (especially in lexicography) it is also sometimes known as the swung dash (usually lengthened to ⁓).

Me: "With a greeting like that, the last thing I expected you to do was to ask me to fix your lamp."
Other Nonsense.
Person #1: "We need more Christian"
Me: "We could edit the sky to look like the clouds are an open bible... how bout it?"
Person #1: "How about we just put a new picture in there"
Me: "Darn"
I am working on pics of the new Apartment. I took them. Now I just need to find my camera cable.

| So I am fully moved into my new place and I discovered (I say that like I didnt know... but I did) that I do not own much. I do not currently own enough to furnish a 2 bedroom place. I purchased a diningroom table and a futon and I already have some other furniture. So I thought to my self... Self; what would make you enjoy your house even more? I debated on paintings and more furniture.
But, those of you who know me know that a new electronic component would make me happier than anything else. With the stranglehold the local cable company has on teh apartments around here... I have to have CableTV in order to get internet. This is LAME but its the way it has to be.
So I went shopping and purchased a new TV. I dont think this will come as a surprise for any of you but I spent a good bit and purchased one that I wanted and I think will last me a few months at least. So here is the new addition to the LakeHaus v2.0.

| I, my friends, am dumb. Not that I am telling you anything new but I have not moved yet. I posted my new address thinking I would have moved in by now. I dont move till the 15th.... So I just want to put it out there. I will post some pictures of the new place when I move in.
Students are 2 weeks from attending LU. This means it is NUTS at work sometimes.
I dont have much more to say except I am purchasing a new stereo for the CRV and it is going to sound as good as chocolate tastes. But if you dont like chocolate then skip that last part and think about it sounding as good as cheesecake tastes. If you dont like chocolate or cheesecake then... I dont know if I can let you sit in the car.

I will take some pictures of my new place once I move in. I have a nice 860+ Sq ft. 2 Bedroom 2 Bathroom place all to myself and the best part is that rent is only a little over $500 a Month. So the Bachelor life will truly begin. I am not sure how this is going to work. I am not paying for cable TV cause if I want to watch TV I can go to a friends apartment or house. I dont watch any tv currently so its not a problem. I will still have the internet but that is about it.
I was in Iowa the last week and I had a great time. I had some interesting experiences with some interesting people. But on the Whole it was great. I only have one complaint. Corn is not good for cell phone reception. Boooooooooo
